Trust is a production system.

Editorial, source, corrections, AI, image and commercial standards · Draft v0.9 · 10 September 2026

These rules apply to every language edition. Localization can add relevant context, but it cannot weaken the evidence standard or change the underlying fact master.

01

Editorial standards

We publish when a story combines reliable information with context, traveler value and a meaningful question or tradeoff. Volume is not a target. Strong headlines are tested in the article rather than treated as conclusions. We do not manufacture controversy or use nationality as a proxy for behavior.

02

Fact checking

Rules, prices, dates, closures, schedules, tax and access claims are checked first against governments, border authorities, operators or destination institutions. Every material claim has a source-ledger entry, verification time, confidence assessment and review date. Time-sensitive facts may be held or marked outdated.

03

Source policy

Other journalism can reveal an issue but is not a substitute for the original source. Social and community material describes experience, not official fact. We distinguish Confirmed Fact, Traveler Report, Repeated Traveler Report, Community Sentiment, Expert Opinion, Local Response, Our Analysis and Speculation.

04

Traveler evidence

A vivid single report is not a pattern. Repeated experience claims require multiple independent, relevant accounts with attention to date, season, route and traveler type. We do not claim first-person experience unless a named contributor actually visited or used the service.

05

Corrections

Factual corrections are made promptly and materially. The article records what changed and when. Clarifications that improve precision are distinguished from corrections. Readers will be given a dedicated contact channel before launch; no public submission form is active in pre-launch mode.

06

AI usage

AI may assist with research organization, comparison, drafting, localization and original illustration. An editor remains responsible for facts, context, bias, rights and publication. AI-generated images are labeled and never presented as documentary evidence of a real event.

07

Image rights

Public availability is not reuse permission. Social images are used only with written commercial and modification rights, a compatible license, public-domain status or an authorized official media license. We retain creator, URL, acquisition date, rights, attribution and transformation records. We do not remove watermarks or fabricate event evidence.

08

Sensitive events

Disaster, accident, crime, strike and civil-unrest coverage uses verified factual imagery or clearly explanatory graphics. We do not create fake scenes of harm, crowds, disruption or identifiable people. Service information takes precedence over spectacle.

09

Nationality & stereotypes

Coverage focuses on behavior, systems, incentives and capacity. We do not generalize isolated conduct to an entire nationality. Where a group is blamed, reporting tests infrastructure, tour formats, platform incentives and scapegoating as competing explanations.

11

Advertising & affiliates

Google AdSense is the primary planned revenue source. Ads remain subordinate to original editorial content, are labeled only as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored links,” and are kept away from navigation, urgent-alert instructions and controls to prevent accidental clicks. Contextual affiliate links may supplement revenue when a hotel, rail pass, tour, insurance product or eSIM directly helps the reader complete the trip. Every affiliate link is disclosed at the point of use; commissions never determine selection, ranking, price claims or conclusions. Visa and entry coverage links to official application channels rather than commission-paying intermediaries. No AdSense application, ad script, affiliate account or live commercial link is active before launch approval.

Privacy & terms — draft

The public site will minimize collection, explain analytics and cookie choices, state retention periods, identify processors and provide rights contacts. Final privacy and terms documents require jurisdiction-specific legal review before publication.
