The story

Repeat visitors to Taiwan can register for a draw offering NT$5,000 in spending credit if they meet the campaign rules. It is a lottery, so registration does not guarantee a prize. You must register 7–90 days before arrival, with final registration closing on 24 March 2027. Eligible arrivals run from 10 October 2026 through 31 March 2027, subject to quota, budget and organizer adjustments. See the official rules.

Checked: 17 October 2026.

Who qualifies as a repeat visitor?

You need a non-Taiwan passport, a planned stay of 3–90 days and a valid Taiwan entry record from 1 January 2023 through the day before registration. Travel-agency tour-group members and travelers covered by another group subsidy applied for through a travel agency are excluded. The campaign homepage sets out the basic scope.

You do not need to have participated in the earlier Taiwan the Lucky Land campaign. One accompanying friend or relative may be linked to the registration, but the stated prior-visit and overlapping-trip conditions still apply. Check those conditions in the official FAQ, in Korean before assuming a companion qualifies. A winning linked registration can provide NT$3,000 in spending credit for that eligible companion.

Register before travel, then wait for the draw

Submit the name, nationality, passport number, arrival date, flight details, departure date and email address required by the rules. These must match your passport and itinerary. Each trip may be registered once; the rules allow up to three corrections per registration, and errors can affect eligibility or redemption.

Draws take place every Wednesday at noon Taiwan time through 24 March 2027. The rolling cumulative system keeps registered travelers eligible before arrival until they win or reach the applicable deadline. Earlier registration within the permitted window may therefore give you more draw opportunities. The practical trade-off is timing: register early enough to benefit, while keeping the itinerary details accurate. Officials publish no winning odds or guaranteed result, so budget for the trip without the credit.

A winning email is only the next step

After entering Taiwan, a winner must complete verification within 24 hours, following the winner email and uploading an image of the return flight ticket. The final verification deadline is 23:59 on 1 April 2027; it does not replace the individual 24-hour requirement. These deadlines appear in the campaign rules.

After verification, present the redemption QR code and passport at a participating 7-ELEVEN in Taiwan. Final prize redemption is due by 23:59 on 2 April 2027. The spending credit goes through an approved electronic stored-value-card process, including EasyCard, iPASS or icash2.0, as described in the official campaign update. It is not unrestricted cash. Card availability and processing speed at a particular store are not established by these sources; leave time for redemption.

Keep entry permission separate

Normal Taiwan passport, visa, entry and carrier requirements remain separate from this incentive. Eligibility or a winning email does not establish permission to enter. Check the requirements for your nationality, travel purpose and itinerary independently. Treat any prize as a possible addition to an already affordable trip, with verification and redemption still to complete.
